Julia is a graduate student of the Masters of Arts in Counselling Psychology program through Yorkville University, and is completing her practicum alongside Laurie Ponsford-Hill at The Counselling House. She completed her undergraduate degree at Trent University in Peterborough, Ontario, receiving an Honours Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology.
Julia is an extremely compassionate and empathetic individual with a passion for helping people. She is a kind and wonderful listener, is professional and reliable, and is dedicated to helping her clients in any way she can.
Julia has worked with children as a preschool teacher, the elderly in a nursing home, and has volunteered as a Behaviour Intervention Therapist with individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). She is extremely excited to be beginning her career as a counsellor and is a fantastic resource for comfortable and confidential counselling services to suit your unique and individual needs.
