Ekaterina is passionate about supporting and helping people in their personal growth and overcoming life’s challenges. When working with Ekaterina you will learn more about you, what you are really struggling with, and you will uncover strengths and skills you already have and learn new ones. She will guide you and help you in gaining clarity and self-awareness to facilitate the changes you are searching for by utilizing a variety of techniques and modalities. She offers a non-judgemental space where you can be heard, acknowledged, and supported.
Ekaterina has gained a deep understanding of herself, her skills, and her values and is now prepared to help you do the same. Her approach is empathic, compassionate, collaborative and evidence-based. She is skilled in working with a variety of presenting issues such as: relational conflict and communication difficulties, emotional injuries and extra-marital affairs, depression, anxiety, dealing with stress, insomnia, psychological trauma. Her approach is integrative, drawing primarily from Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness.
She is in the final stages of completing her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. She is Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). Ekaterina has Honors Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Western University and Bachelor of Commerce Degree from Ryerson Polytechnic University. She is a registered Hypnotist with the National Guild of Hypnotists and works with Past Life Regression and Lives between Lives. She is Sivananda certified yoga teacher and teaches yoga, meditation and breathing exercises. In her free time, she likes to read books, spend time with her children and friends. She speaks English, German, Bulgarian and Russian.
