About Leah
Leah is a registered member of the College of Psychotherapists of Ontario (Qualifying). She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology (Specialization) from Western University, and a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (Honours) from Yorkville University.
Leah’s passion as a Registered Psychotherapist (Q) comes from recognizing the significance of mental health and wellbeing in creating a joyful life. Leah embraces diversity and creates a safe, therapeutic environment by conveying a nonjudgmental, empathetic approach with her clientele.
Leah offers comprehensive assistance in addressing and overcoming mental health issues. She embraces a trauma-informed approach to therapy, and strives to heal underlying challenges that contribute to mental health. Her areas of focus include Eating Disorders, Depression, and Anxiety.
Leah offers comprehensive assistance in addressing and overcoming mental health issues. She will help to build your individual strengths, and acquire new skills. Leah works collaboratively with her clients to help take back control over their lives. She will work with you to overcome adversity, through exploration of adaptive coping mechanisms to meet your personalized goals.
