About Kathleen:
Kathleen has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Equity, Diversity, and Human Rights from Laurentian University. She is currently completing the practicum component of her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology degree through Yorkville University. Kathleen recognizes the importance of building a strong therapeutic relationship, founded on trust and an appreciation of each client’s strengths. Kathleen applies evidence-based cognitive-behavioural as well as positive psychology approaches to her counselling work. Kathleen welcomes all clients to step into her therapy sessions. She is especially interested in helping individuals navigate their feelings of anxiety, stress, and depression. Kathleen is offering free psychotherapy services at The Counselling House under the supervision of Dr. Laurie Ponsford-Hill.
