The diversity and uniqueness of individuals requires a flexible approach to the therapeutic journey. I believe in integrating a variety of coping strategies and techniques that allow for flexibility to meet the individuals and families where they are and support them in reaching their vision of health, success and positive relationships. The approaches I apply include, but are not limited to, Narrative, ACT, Solution Focused and Family Systems Therapy.
My work with teenagers in the special education and alternative education settings has given me strategies and abilities to work with individuals identified with a variety of diagnoses, and who are facing anxiety, school and peer related issues, self-esteem and executive functioning challenges. I have robust experience working with individuals diagnosed with Attention Deficit Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder and Autism Spectrum Disorder, attachment issues, and their families.
I enjoy working with children, adolescents and families, but work with individuals of all ages. I am currently accepting new clients and offering services on-line or over the phone.
