Foram Trivedi

Hello, my name is Foram Trivedi, and I am currently completing my practicum placement at The Counselling House in Woodstock as part of my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology program. I am working under the clinical supervision of Dr. Laurie Ponsford-Hill, PhD, RP, RSW, which ensures that the counselling services I provide are ethical, professional, and supportive of your needs.

I believe that therapy should be a safe and compassionate space where you can share your story without judgment. My approach is client-centered, meaning that I listen with care, respect your individuality, and work alongside you to explore your challenges. I have a particular interest in supporting clients experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, self-esteem concerns, life transitions, cultural identity issues, and relationship difficulties.

I draw from a variety of evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), mindfulness strategies, solution-focused therapy, and strengths-based approaches. Together, we will identify tools and perspectives that fit your life and help you move toward growth, resilience, and balance.

I currently offer both in-person sessions in Woodstock and virtual sessions across Ontario, making counselling accessible and flexible to fit your schedule. My goal is to walk alongside you on your path to healing and positive change.
