About Madeleine:
My name is Madeleine Lund, and I am currently offering therapy services at the Counselling House under the supervision of Dr. Laurie Ponsford-Hill. My placement here will allow me to complete my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP) degree.
I earned my undergraduate degree in Psychology, with a minor in French, from the University of Guelph. Throughout my academic and professional experiences, I have worked with children, youth, and adults across a variety of settings and backgrounds, supporting individuals navigating a range of emotional, behavioural, and life challenges. These experiences have shaped my belief that meaningful change happens when support is tailored to each person’s unique needs.
I am drawn to supporting individuals navigating anxiety, depression, stress, relationship and family concerns, and self-esteem difficulties. I also value exploring how past experiences and emotional patterns may continue to shape present well-being and relationships.
My approach to therapy is very person-centred, as I believe each person comes into therapy with their own unique experiences, strengths, and challenges. It is never one-size-fits-all, and together we can explore your experiences, build insight, and support meaningful personal growth in a way that feels safe and supportive. I integrate CBT, EFT, and ACT-informed approaches to help clients make sense of their thoughts, emotions, relationships, and values in ways that support personal growth and self-awareness.
If you feel we would work well together, I offer in-person therapy at both the London and Woodstock locations, as well as virtual or phone sessions, and welcome you to reach out.
